Crossing the Bridge of Problems - All Quiet on the Western Front

On a recent trip, I had a little time to myself and so I loaded Netflix and watched the sobering and award-winning movie, All Quiet on the Western Front. I was completely enthralled by the story and couldn’t help but think about the many young men and women back in the trenches again, this time, in Ukraine. Struck by that dark reality, I found myself reading about World War I until the early morning hours.

I awoke the next day feeling incredibly grateful for my problems. It was an important perspective reset for me as I had admittedly tumbled into a little pity party about all the problems I had on my plate.

I share this because I know many of you are experiencing some serious ups and downs in your business right now and it’s creating a lot of real problems for you. I encourage you to take a moment and look around at all your challenges. Can you see them for what they really are?

Consider, every problem is a golden opportunity to evolve, and the more you have, the more opportunities you have to grow. A problem is a bridge to cross to get to a more remarkable version of yourself.

Your job is to cross that bridge, one day at a time, and soon you’ll look back and see just how far you’ve really come, thanks to all your problems.
